We're in an age where we don't have to wait on music or all like the same thing - nobody's listening to the radio. It's respected and well-liked but not even seen as Cole's best album, and his best (FHD) is right on the verge of classic in terms of acclaim but not quite there.īut like I said, it doesn't matter if other people love it like you do. If you're asking whether it's universally loved enough to be considered a classic, the answer is no. There are dozens of "classic" albums that I will never enjoy as much as some of my "non-classic" favorites. "Classic" is an arbitrary distinction we made up to validate each other for loving the same music. ![]()
